FAQ'S


Do I need to make a deposit or down payment to book my wedding date?

A. Yes, I require a 50% deposit to book my services for your wedding day. Your remaining 50% balance is due 2 weeks before your wedding!

Do you travel for weddings?

A. Absolutely! Aside from Utah (obviously), I can travel to the Pacific Northwest, West Coast, Midwest, East Coast or New England areas.. so you know, basically all of the U.S. I’m also VERY ok with going to Hawaii and Canada. ;) If you're having a wedding in a place that I didn't list, email me! Depending on scheduling, I may very well be able to travel to your destination as well.

If I don't want to do an engagement or bridal/groomal session (which is included in your packages), do you give a discount?

A. Yes. You have options (that can be discussed) if you choose not to do your bridal/groomal (or engagement) session that comes with your package. 

Do you know of locations where I can have my bridals or engagements photographed?

A. Absolutely! I have an endless list of location options. Whatever setting your little heart desires, we can make it work.

My fiance and I have no idea how to pose, will you be able to help us?

A. I understand how unnerving it can be standing on the opposite side of the camera if you're not used to having your photo professionally taken. This is actually a VERY common question I hear from clients. I will absolutely be there helping you pose and feel comfortable every second of the way. I have a mix of a journalistic/candid style with a little sprinkling of traditional. We all know mom and dad want those smiling photos of us but we want natural, magazine-worthy candids that show off the little moments you and your fiance share that are uniquely yours!

Do you do consultations?

A. I sure do! We will discuss all the details through phone or email to get all your questions answered and can even get you booked that way. If you are interested in meeting in person, you can do so at a bridal show which are every few months throughout the year, or, meet me at a cute little cafe in Utah Valley and we can chat wedding details to your heart’s content!

Do you charge travel fees?

A. I do not charge travel fees for any locations in Salt Lake City (and surrounding areas), Utah Valley or the Heber/Midway areas. Anywhere outside there will have a very reasonable travel fee. Destination weddings are quoted per individual couple and have very reasonable travel fees as well.

Do I get the copyright to my photos?

A. You get the Printing Rights, not the Copyright. With that, you're able to print the photos wherever you'd like, although I do give you recommendations! 

How far in advance should I book my photographer?

A. As soon as you've picked your date and venue! Summer and Fall dates are the quickest to book up, specifically Saturdays. So be sure to plan ahead and put a deposit down as soon as you're committed to a date!

Do you do family sessions? Or newborn? Or seniors?

A. I appreciate you asking, but I do not. Yes, I shoot family photos at weddings (of course!), but I do not shoot stand alone family sessions outside of wedding days. I am a wedding photographer, so I shoot anything and everything LOVE! Engagements, bridals, groomals, anniversary/couple sessions, and wedding days.
